Personal profile

About

I have always had an interest in the ecological consequences of man’s perturbation of the environment on animal’s physiology.  In the past some of my research centered around the effects of environmental factors, such as diet, on animals' responses to exogenous chemicals, such as environmental toxins.  I am currently involved in several collaborations with other Harding Faculty members in field projects that focus our efforts at Gilliam Biological Research Center.  My overall aim in all of my work is to involve students in research projects with the goal of student driven work and publications.
