About
Dr. Boone teaches American literature and writing at Harding University. He also directs the Writing Center. He has published articles on a wide range of literary figures, from Mark Twain, Nathaniel Hawthorne, and Edgar Allan Poe, to D. H Lawrence and William Carlos Williams, to Mark Strand, Rita Dove, and Jorie Graham--and many others. His poetry has appeared in Georgetown Review, Teleios, Streetlight Magazine, St. Austin Review, Cave Region Review, and elsewhere. His recent book, Understanding Jorie Graham (U of South Carolina P, 2025), examines the life and work of one of the most accomplished living American poets.
