About
Dr. Melissa Shipp joined the College of Pharmacy in 2012. She completed her undergraduate studies at Harding University and attended University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences to receive her Doctor of Pharmacy in May 2011. After graduation, she completed an acute care pharmacy practice residency at White River Medical Center in Batesville, Arkansas. She is a board certified pharmacotherapy specialist and practices at White River Medical Center on the inpatient rehabilitation unit. Her professional interests are cardiology, infectious disease, and interprofessional education and collaboration. In her free time, Melissa enjoys spending time with her son Ethan and traveling with friends and family.
