About

Inorganic Chemistry
Honors College Faculty Fellow
Primary Courses: Inorganic Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry, College Chemistry I and II, Research Methods, Current Chemical Research, HNRS: The Physical World
Research: I have three primary research projects. The first project is focused on the synthesis of low-valent metal complexes with thione ligands in the pursuit of metal coordination polymers with unique properties. The second project is an environmental project focused on collecting water samples in the area and analyzing the samples for the presence of pharmaceuticals, pesticides, and PFAS. The third project involves the development of a bench-top assay for measuring the antioxidant capabilities of coordinating ligands.
