About

Don Wilcox, PhD, PT, GCS is an assistant professor in the physical therapy department.  He received his bachelor’s degree in Biology from Harding University in 1996, a bachelor's degree in health sciences in 1997, a master’s degree in physical therapy in 1998, and his PhD from the University of Central Arkansas in 2022.  He is a board certified clinical specialist in geriatric physical therapy through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties.  Dr. Wilcox teaches content in the areas of Cardiopulmonary, Orthotics and Prosthetics, Physical Agents and Modalities, Pathophysiology, Geriatrics, and Evidence-Based Physical Therapy Practice.  He has been a Physical Therapist for 25 years with clinical experience in a variety of adult settings, including outpatient orthopedic and sports, inpatient rehabilitation, and home health.
